Good Food Will Soon Take Flight at LaGuardia

There's some changes going on over at LaGuardia Airport.  Delta Air Lines is taking over Terminal C and there's a serious list of restauranteurs moving in.  Andrew Carmellini, Michael White, and folks from Balthazar are all involved.  The list reads a bit like an abridged version of The Great Googa Mooga lineup.

Maybe that will change peoples attitudes about D.E.L.T.A. (Doesn't Ever Leave The Airport)

The Great Googa Mooga, aka Foodstock

It was announced last week that Prospect Park would be the site for a food festival in May.  It turns out The Great Googa Mooga is going to be pretty epic.  Brooklyn strongholds Frankies 457, Char No. 4, and Mile End will be there.  M. Wells, DBGB, Joseph Leonard, Minetta Tavern, and Spotted Pig are some others.

We're still waiting to hear which bands are going to be booked but check out the list of restaurants that are going to be there.

The two-day festival on May 19th and 20th is free, but you will have to register.  You can do so here starting next Thursday (the 15th) at noon.
